Your team

Bring in anyone who helps with your marketing: a partner, an employee, a freelancer. Each person gets their own sign-in, so nobody shares passwords. Open Team from the menu.

Owners and Members

• Members can do everything with the marketing: business info, ideas, plans, posts, photos, and marking posts as posted or skipped.
• Owners can also invite and remove people, change roles and the business email, connect social accounts, and manage billing.

The person who created the business is its Primary Owner. They're always an Owner, nobody can remove them, and only they can delete the business.

Inviting someone

1. Choose Invite someone.
2. Enter their email address, and choose Owner or Member.
3. We'll email them. They join by signing in to IndieAM with that same address, and the invite will be waiting on their list of businesses.

An invite lasts 14 days. You can re-send it or cancel it from the Team screen. Each re-send emails the person again, so we keep the number of invite emails a business can send in one day sensible; if you reach it, you can send more invites tomorrow.

A team can have up to 10 people, counting invites not yet accepted.

Only an Owner can invite and remove people or change roles.

Changing roles and removing people

Choose Manage next to a person, then Make Owner, Make Member or Remove from the team. We'll email them to let them know.

Anyone can be removed except the Primary Owner, and a business always keeps at least one Owner.

Leaving

Anyone except the Primary Owner can leave: choose Leave with your business's name, at the bottom of the Team screen.

The Primary Owner first hands that role on: choose Manage next to someone and Make Primary Owner. They become an Owner if they aren't one already, and you stay an Owner too.

The business email

Your plan's receipts and invoices go to the business email. It isn't anyone's sign-in. IndieAM's other emails go to the people on the team, at the addresses they sign in with. Owners can change it in Settings, from the menu.
