Email reminders

Updated

One short email in the morning tells you everything that needs you that day.

The daily reminder

On days with something to do, everyone on the team gets one reminder email, around 9 in the morning in the business's time zone. It lists:

  • posts that are ready for you to post by hand;
  • posts in the next few days that still need photos;
  • weeks of posts waiting for your approval;
  • posts whose day passed before they were approved, so you can post them anyway or skip them.

Each post is named by its day, where it goes, and its topic, like "Thu, Oct 29 - Instagram Carousel: Your topic".

Each item links straight to where you can act on it. Once you mark a post I've posted this or Skip, it drops off the reminder.

On days with nothing to do, we won't email you at all.

Turning it off

Each person decides for themselves, business by business:

  • Inside a business, open Settings from the menu and switch Daily reminder off or on.
  • Or open Account from the menu, where Daily reminders lists every business you belong to.
  • Or use the link at the bottom of any reminder email and choose Stop daily reminders, or use your mail app's own Unsubscribe button.

Turning it off only stops the daily reminder for that business. You can turn it back on any time.

Emails that always come

These are about something that needs you, so they can't be turned off:

  • a post that couldn't go out, or one that went out after all;
  • an account that needs reconnecting, for Owners;
  • billing notices, for Owners;
  • team invites and changes;
  • deleting a business or account;
  • sign-in codes, and replies about access and help requests;
  • changes to our terms.

Every email says at the bottom why you're getting it.
