Topics

Updated

Topics are what your campaign's posts talk about, a bit like chapters in a story. Each post covers one topic, and a topic can carry several posts.

Choosing topics

When you choose an idea, we suggest a first set of topics for the campaign. Open the campaign to see them under Suggestions. For each one, you can:

  • Use it in this campaign. It moves up to Chosen.
  • Save for later, for a future campaign.
  • Remove it. Changed your mind? Tap Undo straight away.

Pick at least 6: that's enough for us to plan the campaign's posts. A campaign can have up to 15.

Getting more

Want more ideas? Tap More topics at the bottom of the screen. You can add a note of what you have in mind.

Up to 12 suggestions can wait at once, so decide on a few to make room. New suggestions steer clear of ones you've removed.

The order

Your posts introduce the chosen topics in order, top to bottom. Use the arrows next to a chosen topic to move it up or down.

Once the plan is made, a new order only affects a new plan or posts you add, not the posts already planned.

Changing the wording

Tap Edit on a topic to change its title and description. We use your wording just as you write it.

If posts in the plan already use that topic, they keep the earlier wording. We'll offer to open the plan so you can edit their angles.

Once there's a plan

When the plan is made, the topics fold into one line that says how many you chose, like Topics · 8 chosen, so the plan comes first. Tap it to open them, and everything works as before. Hide topics folds them away again.

Topics in the plan

Once the plan is made, a topic that planned posts use can't be removed or saved for later. To free it, remove those posts or make a new plan.

Saved topics

Saved topics stay with your business, up to 15 at a time. They show under Saved for later on any campaign whose topics are still open. Tap Use in this campaign to bring one in. We never add one to a campaign on our own.

When topics lock

Once the plan is approved, the campaign's topics are set. Your saved topics stay saved for the next campaign.
