Things to avoid
Updated
Some things just aren't right for your business, and that's fine. Tell us once, and we'll steer clear of them in every campaign idea, topic and post we write for you.
The checklist
A few common rules are ready to switch on:
- Avoid guaranteeing specific outcomes or results
- Avoid giving legal advice
- Avoid giving medical advice
- Avoid giving financial advice
Switch on the ones that apply to your business, then tap Save. You can switch them off and on again later.
If none apply, leave them off and tap Save - none of these apply.
Your own rules
Add anything else you want us to stay away from, one short line at a time. For example:
- "Don't mention prices for custom work"
- "Never say we're the cheapest in town"
- "Don't use the word 'organic'"
Type each one under Anything else to avoid? and tap Add. When you've added them all, tap Save. Your rules aren't kept until you do.
You can edit or delete your own rules later. Deleted one by mistake? Tap Undo right away.
What we always ask for, rule or not
Whatever your rules say, we tell the AI never to:
- Claim something about your business that your business info doesn't back up, like how fast you are, numbers, results, awards, reviews, rankings or comparisons.
- Make up deals or prices.
- Name you or your staff in posts.
AI can still slip now and then, so read each post before you approve it.
