Help · Your business
Products, customers and goals
Updated
Every campaign is aimed at one group of customers, works toward one goal, and can focus on some of your products. These three lists are where they come from.
Products & services
List what you sell, each with a name and a short description. If we read your website, we'll have filled in some for you to check. Starting from scratch? Tap Help me list them and we'll ask a few questions.
Tick Flagship / best-known on the ones your business is known for. When you ask for several ideas without picking products or saying what you have in mind, at least one will feature a flagship product, and posts for campaigns that aren't about particular products lean toward them too - never making everything about them. It's a note for choosing what to feature, so we never tell your customers something is "popular" or "best-selling" because you ticked it.
Check them over, then tap Save. The button counts what you're saving, like Save 3 items. Each product needs its own name, so we don't mix them up.
Customers
Customers are the groups of people you sell to, or would like to, such as "Parents of young kids nearby" or "Local offices ordering lunch".
- Tap Suggest customer groups and we'll suggest some based on your business.
- Keep the ones that fit, edit or remove the rest, or tap Add your own.
- For each group, choose whether they're Already a customer or people you Want to reach.
Then tap Save.
Goals
Goals are what you want marketing to do for you: win new customers, bring back past ones, fill quiet days. A clear goal is what turns a nice post into one that brings people in.
Each goal has a name and, if you like, a line on who it's about and what they should do. For example: "Get office workers nearby to come in for lunch Monday to Thursday". That line helps us aim your campaigns.
- Tap Suggest goals for a few ideas that fit your business, and Suggest more if you'd like others. If you have something in mind, like "more summer bookings", type it in Anything to focus on? first and we'll build the suggestions around it.
- Edit or remove any of them, or tap Add your own.
- Wrote a goal yourself and not sure it's clear? Tap Improve with AI and we'll reword it as who should do what, keeping what you meant. Change anything you like, or tap Undo to go back to your words.
- Nothing is saved until you tap Save.
Suggestions need About the business finished first. Each goal needs its own name.
Removing one
Removing a product, customer group or goal puts it away rather than deleting it, and you can bring it back any time. Once setup is done, you always need at least one of each. See Setting up your business for what happens to campaigns and ideas that use it.
