Creating your business

Updated

Getting started takes a few minutes. You don't need a password, and nothing is charged until your free trial ends.

Creating your business

  1. Go to Start your free trial and sign in with your email address or your Google account. We'll email you a code, and the first time you use it, your account is made for you. See Signing in.
  2. The first time, we'll ask you to agree to our terms: see Agreeing to the terms.
  3. Give your business a name, choose the country it's in, and check the business email. The business email starts out as the email you signed in with. Change it if you'd like receipts and invoices to go somewhere else, such as a shared inbox.
  4. Tell us how you heard about IndieAM. It helps us know which of our efforts reach people like you.
  5. Choose Create business, and we take you straight to a secure checkout to add a card for your free trial. See Your free trial.

Then you set up the rest in Business info: what you sell, who it's for, how you sound, and where you post.

If you asked us for access earlier, the name you gave is already filled in, and what you told us about your business is waiting in Business info for you to check, so you don't type it twice.

If you leave the checkout before adding a card, that's fine: open your business and choose Start your free trial whenever you're ready.

Outside the United States?

For now, IndieAM is only for businesses in the United States. When you choose another country, we'll ask you to tell us a little about your business instead, and we'll email you when we can take it on. The more people ask from a country, the sooner it moves up our list.

Adding another business

Each business has its own plan. To add another one, open the menu and choose Add a business. If you've already had a free trial, the new business starts its plan straight away.
