How your posts did
Updated
Once a post is out, we keep an eye on how it's doing, so you can see what your customers respond to without opening every app. This works for posts on accounts you've connected.
Where to see them
- On a post: open it, and once it has gone out, How it did for each place it went is right at the top.
- On a campaign: How it's doing sums up each channel and lists the campaign's Most seen posts. It says Still collecting while numbers are coming in, and Final numbers once they're all in.
- On your home: while a campaign is running, How it's doing shows how many of its posts have gone out, and its Seen by and Interactions so far.
- On past campaigns: open Campaigns from the menu. Each past campaign shows its total Seen by and Interactions; open it for the full picture.
When numbers arrive
We read a post's numbers three times: about a day, a week and a month after it went out. A Story is read once, a few hours before it disappears. The first numbers appear about a day after posting.
What they mean
- Seen by is the platform's own measure of how far the post reached: reach on Instagram and Facebook, views on TikTok and YouTube, impressions on X and LinkedIn. Platforms count differently, so treat the campaign total as a rough guide.
- Interactions adds up the likes, comments, shares and saves the platform reports.
Tap a reading to see the platform's own numbers, under its own names. A number a platform doesn't give shows as not shared, not as zero.
Which posts get numbers
- Posts IndieAM published, on a connected account.
- Posts you posted yourself on a connected account, once you've added the link with I've posted this.
- A long YouTube video you uploaded yourself, once you add its link and YouTube is connected.
And which don't:
- Instagram Stories you posted yourself: Instagram only shares those for posts IndieAM publishes.
- Google Business Profile, Facebook events, newsletters and articles: IndieAM can't read numbers for those.
When there are no numbers
The post tells you why:
- It's too soon. The post says roughly when the first numbers will come.
- We couldn't find the post on your account. Choose Correct the link and paste the link to the post itself.
- The post is no longer on the platform. Its earlier numbers stay.
- The account didn't share numbers for it. It may have its insights switched off.
- The channel wasn't connected at the time.
- Billing had stopped, or the business was being deleted, when the numbers were due.
- The numbers couldn't be read in time.
